Пораз Звезде у четвртфиналу Евро Купа

Ватерполисти Црвене звезде изгубили су у Италији од СМ Вероне резулатом 15:8 у реванш мечу четвртфинала Евро Купа.

У првом мечу у Београду било је 5:10 за Италијане, па је на тај начин Црвена звезда елиминисана из даљег такмичења.

Већ у првој четвртини Верона је стекла убедљиву предност од 4:1. До краја друге четвртине црвено-бели су имали пет голова заостатка (9:4). Било је јасно да ће наша екипа доживети пораз од италијанске екипе која је на крају тријумфовала са 15:8.

Најефикаснији у Црвеној звезди био је капитен Ђорђе Танасковић који је постигао 4 гола. Два гола дао је Огњен Стојановић, а по један Никола Николов и Вељко Танкосић. У тиму Вероне четири пута у листу стрелаца се уписао Пиетро Фиљоли.
